MEET OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Bill is living with Parkinson’s disease and so is his father. With a lust for life, Bill and the board are committed to finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease, inspiring those affected while educating those who are not.
Bill was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s disease in 2012 at age 43, however, symptoms started long before and went improperly diagnosed for 7 years. Determined to raise awareness and help improve the science and research towards finding a cure for his disease, Bill took the unusual next step and immediately went public with his diagnosis. He completed fundraising events such as the Ironman Triathlon, climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, Olympic distance Triathlons and running numerous Marathons. Bill lives with his wife Heidi and two children, Madeleine and Evan in Wilmette, Illinois.
We are currently partnering with Team Fox, of the Michael J. Fox foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
The Michael J Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson’s today.
Team Fox is the grassroots community fundraising program at The Michael J. Fox Foundation. Due to an anonymous donor, 100% of all donations made to Team Fox go directly to research. Each year, thousands of Team Fox members worldwide turn their passions and interests into unique fundraising events and athletic feats.
