Seve & Lucy Bowen is a Certified Dance for PD Teacher who will be presenting at the WPC in Phoenix. She has been teaching Dance for PD for 18 years, first with her eponymous troupe, Bowen McCauley Dance Company, and, since 2021, as Director of Dance for PD – Mid-Atlantic hub. The Mid-Atlantic hub currently provides nine free, weekly dance classes to persons living with Parkinson’s and their care partners at a variety of venues, including the Kennedy Center and The Washington Ballet. Steve is her fiance and manages Strategy and Operations for the hub. Together they have bicycled in the Pacific Northwest, Spain, South Dakota and frequently in Virginia/DC/Maryland near where they live in Arlington, VA. Prior to meeting in 2022 they both were long-time bicyclists, and they love sharing the joy of bicycling together. They are excited to be able to join the ride, on their tandem, for the last few days into Phoenix.
